Maintenance Engineer, up to £44,000 per annum, Shift - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 5:45 am - 2:15 pm/ 1:45 pm- 10:15 pm), Permanent, Sherborne.
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing? We have an excellent opportunity for you to work with one of the leading employers in the region who highly values their employees. As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing Preventative and Corrective Maintenance as necessary.
2. Supporting the Engineering management in the continuous improvement programme.
3. Prioritising engineering issues to minimise downtime.
4. Completing all documentation in a timely manner.
5. Assisting with facilities Maintenance and Development.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong track record of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. To be considered, you must have:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office or ERP systems.
3. BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) certification.
4. BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification.
5. 2391 Testing and Inspection certification.
6. Ideal candidates will have an apprentice trained manufacturing/production background.
