Are you a SEN Primary Teacher committed to improving the lives of young people?
We are looking for experienced Teachers to join our fantastic team at Upton Grange School due to growth in service. As an EYFS Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. You will be given the freedom and flexibility to create practical and creative lessons to help meet our students' individual needs. The school is currently creating a bespoke curriculum to underpin this commitment.
Our pupils have a range of Severe Learning Difficulties, making this the most rewarding of roles. Because the pupils may have challenging behaviour, the EYFS Teacher will assist them with focusing, regulating and communicating effectively.
Quality is always top of our agenda and we pride ourselves on the quality of what we do. We are looking for a Teacher, experienced in teaching Special Educational Needs pupils who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Educated to degree level with QTS, Primary trained experience, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
