GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced QHSE Advisor to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our site.
About the Role
This full-time position involves championing and promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness throughout the site while leading from the front. You will take responsibility for all things health and safety at the site, supporting the QHSE Manager in managing health and safety across the site.
Responsibilities
* Support the QHSE Manager in the management of health and safety across the site, including supporting fire evacuations, undertaking audits, and submitting required reports
* Provide training to the management team, ensuring all key personnel are adequately trained in subjects such as incident investigation and fire safety management
* Compile data, statistics, and compliance reports to identify site trends as required
* Advise and assist with ongoing investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring actions are completed within agreed SLA timings
