About the Role
The purpose of this role is to manage engineering construction processes, plan, organise, and control the technical, quality, and engineering aspects of the project works. Your commitment to ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management will be a strength. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $80-90k dependent on experience. This role offers a career pathway to move into a Senior Site Engineer position or a Project Engineering position with exposure to complex and technically challenging projects.
What you will bring to the role
* A tertiary qualification in civil engineering
* Minimum of 2 years site-based experience, preferably in remote locations or difficult access sites in the civil construction sector—providing good experience on construction sites understanding construction planning, specifications, and quality systems.
* Knowledge and technical understanding of civil construction methods and techniques across a broad range of works including heavy reinforcement and large concrete pours.
* Sound skills in communication, planning, temporary works design management, organisation, management of labour and materials, subcontractor management, and budget control.
* Keen to learn, looking for career progression, and willing to collaborate with the wider team to work towards a common goal.
