We require an Electrician to work in the Estates Department to undertake all aspects of electrical engineering work and support the Estates Department in providing a customer-focused service. You will be based in North Powys, carrying out work at Powys Teaching Health Board sites, with duties across the Health Board and community premises.

Person Specification
Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* Training course to a minimum level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
* Knowledge of Electricity and Works Regulations 1989
* Attend all on-going training relevant to post
* Knowledge of fault finding and calibrate specialist hospital equipment
* Completed an accredited Electrical Apprenticeship
Experience
* Significant experience of full range of electrical repair and maintenance
* 18th Editions IEE regs and testing and inspection
* Judgement is required regarding a range of facts and situations that require analysis where there is more than a straightforward choice of options regarding required work
* Previous experience working on breakdowns and PPM
* Previous experience working on new installations, control systems, plant and equipment breakdowns, fault finding, rectifications and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of technical, mechanical and electrical plant and equipment found in a typical complex engineering or healthcare environment
* Knowledge of various Health and Safety legislation as applicable to core trade, ensuring the wellbeing of staff, patients, and visitors
* Knowledge of and ability to carry out minor works of other trades after attending appropriate training
