Tripod Partners are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with Forensic experience to join a healthcare team in Nottingham. The role involves providing specialist psychiatric care across a Low Secure and Community Forensic Care Unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the multidisciplinary team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Provide Consultant-level psychiatric care within Low Secure and Community Forensic settings.\n\n * \n\n Conduct patient assessments, formulate care plans, and oversee treatment delivery.\n\n * \n\n Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient management.\n\n * \n\n Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of forensic services.\n\nPosition Details:\nLocation: Nottingham\nDuration: Ongoing (start date 01/04/2025, no confirmed end date)\nHours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00\nPay Rate: £94.87 per hour\nWork Pattern: Monday – Friday\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Recognised basic medical degree.\n\n * \n\n MRCPsych or equivalent.\n\n * \n\n Full GMC registration.\n\n * \n\n Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry (or General Adult Psychiatry with appropriate forensic experience).\n\n * \n\n Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.\n\n * \n\n Current DBS clearance.\n\n * \n\n Experience working in forensic settings.\n\n * \n\n Ability to travel as required.\n\n * \n\n Right to work in the UK
