Randstad Education is partnering with specialist schools in Sefton to support children and young people with various Special Educational Needs. We are looking for passionate, confident, and patient Teaching Assistants to join our team as soon as possible. This term-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a committed department, with potential for a permanent role within the school. You will work with students with diverse Special Educational Needs, including CLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and Autism. While previous experience in schools or with young people is beneficial, it is not essential.
These roles are starting ASAP on a contract basis with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Work with children and young people with various Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD.
2. Serve as a confident, creative, and resilient behaviour mentor who can build positive learning relationships with young people.
3. Ideally, have previous experience working in schools with SEN pupils.
