We are now seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dedicated team, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. Job Purpose As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality through precise measurement, inspection, and testing. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that components and assemblies meet specifications and drive continuous quality improvements. Key Responsibilities Inspection & Testing: Measure and visually inspect components and assemblies using a variety of metrology equipment, including Faro Arm (CMM). Validation: Test and validate components and assemblies using various test equipment. Weld Inspection: Visually inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. Non-Conformance Management: Identify defects, record non-conformances, and collaborate on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Final Quality Checks: Ensure finished goods meet specifications and champion quality standards before delivery to customers. Process Improvement: Work with teams to improve manufacturing processes, ensuring right-first-time production. Performance Metrics: Track and update key performance indicators to drive continuous quality improvements. Essential Skills & Experience Experience working to ISO 9001 standards. At least 3 years’ experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Quality & Process Management tools, including: 5S/6S, Pareto Analysis, SPC, AQL, FMEA, 8D, Cause & Effect, Ishikawa, 5 Whys Proficient in using CMM or Faro Arm and other metrology equipment used in precision engineering. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications. Desirable Skills & Experience Experience with welding and fabrication processes. Previous experience in the vacuum industry is advantageous. Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing (BTech/HNC/HND). Personal Qualities & Attributes Self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks. Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
