Job Description:
They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead their design team in creating efficient and effective solar PV systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, development, and implementation of solar projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed
2. Oversee the design process for solar PV projects, from initial concept to final implementation
3. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to develop comprehensive project proposals and designs
4. Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
5. Review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to verify accuracy and feasibility
6. Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data for design purposes
7. Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address design requirements and concerns
8. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and innovations in solar PV technology
Requirements:
9. Proven experience in solar PV design, with a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems and components
10. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PV Sol, and Helioscope
11. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
13. Previous experience in project management or coordination would be advantageous
