Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient learning support assistant who is confident in supporting young people who struggle with their mental health.
The School we are working with are based in East Grinstead and provide specialist education to pupil who may have experience difficult upbringings, child trauma and PTSD. As a result of this they are unable to attend mainstream education due to risk of exclusion, behavioural difficulties and low self-esteem.
As an LSA, you will;
• Support pupils social, emotional and academic development through a range of engaging lessons and activities
• Promote confidence and self-esteem while maintaining positive behaviour
• Working closely with School therapists, teachers, senior leadership and support staff
• Participating in staff training and development courses
• Building professional relationships and demonstrating excellent teamwork, compassion and resilience
Role Details;
• Job Title – SEN Learning Support Assistant
• Location – East Grinstead, West Sussex
• Salary- £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (includes full pay over half terms and school holidays)
• Start date: 22nd April or as soon as possible
