This is an exciting time for the Adult Learning sector as it has a vital part to play in supporting economicrecovery not only by providing training opportunities but by also contributing to a culture of Lifelong Learning that will benefit individuals and communities. Family Learning Working in partnership with primary schools we are keen to further develop our family learning programmes. Family Learning aims to support parents/ guardians to develop skills that will enable them to help their children with school work. The courses are delivered in partnership with primary schools in Gwynedd for 12 weeks and are targeted at year groups negotiated with individual schools. Courses cover literacy, numeracy and digital literacy topics to help support and develop children's skills in these areas. Sessions are fun and relaxed, and build on the strategies and knowledge of parents / guardians in supporting their children's learning. They provide an ideal opportunity for parents / guardians to improve their own skills, recognise how they can best support their children's learning and meet other parents / guardians and carers. Vacancy Terms - Part Time, Hourly paid for 12 weeks at a time, not linked to the academic year Working hours - up to 6 hours per week,An additional percentage of between 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking. Annual Leave entitlement - There will be an entitlement to pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), which includes pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro-rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (please note this can change annually).
