You will be responsible for providing safe, cost effective delivery of high-quality customer service for bus public transport in your designated area, under the direction of your Service Delivery Manager (SDM). This will require you to assess, monitor and manage bus transport services, which will include staff recruitment, training and development; fleet and facilities presentation as well as materials cost control and utilisation to meet the needs of the business. You will also assist the SDM to plan, organise and deliver business change to transport services in your area, with safety, customer service and commerciality as key drivers. Essential Criteria ¿ Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths or, alternatively be able to demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post¿ Experience of working in a trade unionised environment¿ Experience in a first line supervisory or management role¿ Experience of using Microsoft Office packages¿ Experience of successfully building relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders¿ Full current driving licence Desirable Criteria For full requirements please refer to job spec.
