If you're looking for flexible work across a range of industries, we want to hear from you Role Overview: As a Class 2 Driver with Proline Recruitment, youll have the opportunity to take on a variety of roles for different clients. These include but are not limited to: Multi-drop Deliveries : Transporting goods to multiple locations across a set area, ensuring all deliveries are made on time. HGV / Heavy Goods Transport : Delivering larger or bulkier loads, requiring careful handling and secure loading/unloading. Construction Deliveries : Delivering materials to building sites, with potential for on-site vehicle management and coordination. Temperature-controlled Deliveries : Driving refrigerated vehicles to deliver perishable goods, ensuring compliance with temperature regulations. Waste Disposal / Recycling : Transporting waste or recycling materials to various locations such as recycling centres or landfill sites. Long-distance Transport : Occasional long-distance or regional deliveries, where overnight stays may be required. Key Responsibilities: Safely drive a Class 2 vehicle to various locations depending on the specific assignment. Complete vehicle checks before each shift to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods as required, ensuring items are secure and damage-free. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs and any discrepancies. Follow all relevant road safety and environmental regulations. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or recipients. Flexibility to take on different types of work and adjust to varying shifts. Skills and Qualifications: Valid UK Class 2 (C) driving licence. Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC qualification. Experience in any of the following (preferred but not essential): multi-drop, hiab, refrigerated vehicles, construction transport, or waste management. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle maintenance. Good communication skills and professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
