Purpose of the Logistics Administrator Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Logistics Administrator to join our clients team. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer service within the logistics department, handling inquiries, managing stock and transport requirements, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities for a Logistics Administrator:
* Handle customer inquiries via and email, ensuring prompt responses.
* Manage logistics and goods-in email inboxes efficiently.
* Process orders using WMS and maintain accurate records.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and order fulfilment.
* Manage transport bookings, including parcel, TMS, and pallet networks.
* Monitor customer deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
* Generate weekly and monthly invoicing, handling any invoice queries.
* Maintain stock accuracy and assist with annual stock checks.
* Prepare KPI reports and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
Key Requirements for a Logistics Administrator:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy logistics office and customer service role.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (basic formulas/functions).
* Familiarity with warehouse and transport management systems (ideally Access Delta).
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
