Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Services Administrator & Office Coordinator to join our team. This role combines administrative support with paraplanning responsibilities, contributing to the smooth functioning of our office while supporting financial planning activities. Responsibilities:
* Supporting Financial Advisers: Assist financial advisers with research, analysis, and preparation of client reports, including suitability reports and recommendations.
* Administrative coordination: Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, and maintaining common areas.
* Client liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and advisers, managing communications and providing excellent service.
* Financial data management: Assist with the preparation of financial documents, including cash flow models and investment summaries, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
* Compliance and documentation: Ensure that all client files and documents are kept in line with compliance standards, following internal processes and regulatory requirements.
* Invoice processing and reporting: Support the Accounts and Administration department by managing invoices, databases, and preparing financial reports.
* IT and office management: Coordinate with IT and service providers to resolve any operational issues, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a financial administrator, or in a similar role within financial services.
* Strong understanding of financial products, investment solutions, and compliance regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
* Detail-oriented, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
