They are looking to build on their team of forty-five individuals with thirty in Liverpool and fifteen based in their Birmingham office and are activity looking to assemble a team of surveyors to carry out their existing workload. This company has been involved in successful expansions of multi academy trusts and new build regenerations.
The client is searching for associate director with a preferred background in education or project work who are looking to lead the existing team of building surveyor with the current workload by applying your knowledge and expertise. A main responsibility in this role will be the successful support of school estates to provide them with a better understanding of their current needs, support through their funding application with the aim of competition of project work until concluded. Alongside this, the client is actively looking to explore further work in the industrial and commercial sectors. The company has previously worked on projects from £90k up to £55m with a sweet spot of £1 to £3 million. The client has an established presence in the education sector securing 91% of CIF funding applications for their existing clientele. A full membership of the royal institute of chartered surveyors is required due to the nature of the role available.
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in project management preferably focused on the education or healthcare sector. Our client is focused on delivering a more personal management style due to being a slightly smaller firm which means the role is perfect for an individual looking to reduce their work pressure whilst still receiving competitive salaries and bonuses. These bonuses are a percentage of your salary which occur twice a year, one in September related to company targets and in December as a thank you bonus for the work completed during the year.
