You MUST have current hands on vetting experience that is detailed in your CV. Role overview: The Vetting & Onboarding Assistant will be responsible for the onboarding of new contractors joining projects for our clients across the UK. Responsibilities: Onboarding new starters, including adding candidate details to our system, starting vetting checks such as collecting employment references, initiating background checks, ie DBS, financial probity · Dealing with contract extensions, transfers, and leavers Co-ordinating pre-employment checks for new starters Ensuring that pre-employment checks meet compliance criteria Escalating issues and anticipated delays in onboarding to relevant Recruiters Skills Required: Previous experience as an onboarding/vetting assistant Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel in particular) Good attention to detail Able to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, target-driven, and goal-orientated You must be flexible and adaptable due to ever changing demands Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to show understanding, empathy, and rapport building skills LIRemote
