Deputy Residential Manager

Willowgrove is a residential service that provides short breaks for children and young people with a diagnosed learning disability and/or life-limiting condition, within the Southern Trust area.
We are looking for a suitably qualified manager to work alongside our Registered Manager to help provide a safe and caring environment.
We strive to promote inclusion and positive peer interaction through providing social opportunities, within our residential setting and the local community.

Essential criteria:
* Level 4 or above qualification in a childcare/healthcare/social science related subject (or working towards this qualification)
* Demonstrable experience of a supervisory role in a service delivered to children and young people
* Demonstrable experience of working with children and young people
* Demonstrable experience of managing safeguarding concerns
* Demonstrable experience of working in a residential setting
* Demonstrable experience of professional report writing
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle with business class insurance or alternatively be able to demonstrate how you can meet the mobility requirements of the post
Desirable Criteria
* Professional qualification in Social Work
* Experience in working with children and young people living with a disability.
* Knowledge of legislation and guidance for Children's Homes.
* Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support approaches
Post: 37 hours per week, plus on-call duties
Contract: Permanent (Subject to Funding)
Salary: £35,713.60 - £47,783.20 plus an On-call Allowance when applicable
Location: Willowgrove Service, Banbridge
