The Scarlet Front of House team do things a little differently here, providing a unique guest experience with our warm Scarlet welcome and enlightened hospitality, through to waving the final goodbye. We are looking for a candidate to work with the Reception team, meeting and greeting guests and parking cars as needed.
No two days at the hotels are the same and your responsibilities will vary daily, however each day you can expect to:
* Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges.
* Provide a swift and effective check-in process for the day’s arrivals, adhering to standard operating procedures.
* Deal with in-house guest requests, recording all feedback for seamless shift handovers.
* Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and provide the necessary daily information required.
* Answer any questions our in-house guests may have about the hotel and local area
* Anticipate our guests needs to provide a seamless experience
* Ensure all telephone calls as answered quickly and as efficiently as possible.
* Report any maintenance issues and check that the work has been completed and feedback to the guest
* Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest billing, financial transactions and the reception float.
* Maintain the brand standards of our reception and public spaces as well as keeping areas tidy and presentable
Outside of your responsibilities on reception you will be the first point of call for our Valet needs, which will require:
* Parking our guests’ vehicles in a sensible, careful manner
* Arranging cars to be available as guests go out for the day or on the day of departure
Requirements for this role include
* Previous experience as a valet or parking attendant
* You hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
* You are not disqualified or prohibited by law from holding or obtaining such a licence
* You are 25 years of age or over
* Available for weekends and evenings
