The post holder will be responsible for supporting all services within the LivingCare clinical setting, involving services such as ENT, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Phlebotomy, and other new services which may be introduced at Living Care in the future. The role of the post holder within the service will include medication management, specimen sampling, and supporting clinicians within a variety of services. The post holder will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of all services and help to develop, monitor, and evaluate good clinical practice. The role will include working closely with a variety of clinical staff members to include GPs, Audiology Services, Radiographers, and Sonographers. To support the Clinical Operations Manager in the development and implementation of all relevant SOPs and Policies in line with best practice.
To provide and support education to other professionals. The post holder may be required at times to support other services, i.e., Radiology, as part of their outpatient role if staffing levels/service needs require. To provide support in the triage of referrals to clinical services within Living Care.
To deliver outpatient services within our clinic to improve accessibility for patients and reduce unnecessary hospital attendance, improving patient communication and care pathway. Deliver nurse-led clinics, to undertake assessments, care planning, and clinical management plans for those patients who meet the referral criteria. Refer patients to other professionals, as appropriate. Advise patients on preventative measures with health issues which may impact on their care.
Provide nurse-led clinics alongside the delivery of training and ongoing support for HCAs. Provide specialist knowledge to other healthcare professionals, GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, district nurses, nursing, and residential homes. Establish and recognize any need for change to clinical management plans, offering advice and support to patients. Record keeping/maintenance of patient records/audit of service.
Medicine management. To act as the lead for Infection control. Maintain a Personal Professional Portfolio in accordance with the requirements of NMC revalidation.
Non-Clinical Duties: Provide support in the line management of the outpatient team to the Clinical Operations Manager for outpatients, which may include the delivery of 1:1s, team meetings, probations, and appraisals. To have an oversight of the importance of managing departmental budgets and stock to ensure that all services can run proficiently.

1. Essential previous managerial experience

5. Knowledge and understanding of NHS recruitment and selection
