The Role The Team Lead role at Vyta will play a crucial role in enhancing daily operations while prioritising customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance. This position requires a proactive leader to inspire and guide the team in improving processes and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong motivational skills and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that both team performance and customer expectations are consistently met. You will need to: Oversee day-to-day operations whilst providing support to operational management. Processing and dispatch of goods, whilst exceeding the customer expectations. Managing team efficiency to ensure individuals are as productive as possible. Motivating the team to ensure all targets and business objectives are met. Quality control ensuring that products meet specified standards and requirements. Area ownership – capacity/volume, succession planning, quality control, housekeeping, flow, stock, safety. General asset processing activity. To effectively manage and motivate a team of individuals to ensure high productivity to meet the business targets and objectives, while endorsing a positive company/people culture Manage team`s absence and performance, in line with Vyta policies and procedures. Escalating and resolving areas of concern raised by team members A strong focus on customer satisfaction, understanding and meeting the needs and expectations of customers at every point. Accurately respond to requests for information within the agreed time scales. Coach, mentor and develop the team, as required. Administration responsibilities, i.e., Toolbox talks and updating the HR system. Attendance of Team Lead Ops meeting driven by Ops Supervisors. Lead strong GDPR and security compliance. Demonstrate and lead by example on Vyta values. Monitoring the suitability and capability of production equipment in the area. Deliver & supervise Performance KPIs, lead & manage staff to effectively deliver on Core KPIs of quality, safety, and customer specifications.
