Reports to: Assistant Psychology Lead Responsible for: This post has no supervisory responsibilities Principle duties and responsibilities 1. To provide effective, efficient and high-quality clinical administrative support to the Directors and other clinicians. 2. To support the Assistant Psychology team in day to day responsibilities. 3. To provide competent clinical administrative support. 4. To contribute to the smooth running of the business of Psicon. Clinical Administrative Support Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and report writing in accordance with BPS professional codes of practice. Prepare own correspondence and for Directors/Clinicians/Operations Manager. Prepare test materials and visual aids. Administer and add, information to clients files using the relevant IT systems. Collect and analyse data and produce reports. To be acquainted with, implement and maintain all relevant Service policies and procedures. To carry out thorough and efficient clinical triages in line with service protocol. Clinical services To support Assistant Psychologists in the planning and organisation of psycho-educational courses and groups under supervision. To liaise (as necessary) with the systems involved with adults under the care of the service (such as family, carers, solicitors, social workers, etc) to ensure a holistic approach to care. To liaise (as necessary) with the systems involved with the children and young people under the care of the service (such as parents, carers, schools, social workers, etc) to ensure a holistic approach to care. To conduct literature searches, collate audit and outcome evidence, analyse relevant data and produce reports to inform and enhance care delivered by the service. To have a good understanding of risk assessments and safeguarding issues and seek the support of a qualified clinician if risk issues are identified. To attend and contribute (as necessary) to clinical meetings within the service. Supervision Receive regular monthly clinical supervision. To contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice. Participate in internal and external CPD training as required. To participate fully in the Services performance review and personal development planning process on an annual basis. Communications Communicate effectively with patients, employees, clinicians, Directors and third parties. Take and act upon instructions given by clinicians and/or management/director team. Deal with and act upon general telephone and in person enquiries regarding clinical support, clinical services, business development (as required). Check emails regularly and act upon/reply/distribute. To report immediately any incidents affecting staff, users and visitors on service property in accordance with service policies.
