Summary
The post holder will work at Cygnet Kidsgrove and be responsible for leading the occupational therapy team as the Head OT for the hospital.
Post: Band 7 Head Occupational Therapist
Site: Cygnet Kidsgrove
Ward: Crocus and Burleigh Ward
Salary: £45,492 - £47,836 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 Hours
Contract: Permanent
We are excited to announce the opening of our new hospital, Cygnet Kidsgrove, which will provide a safe and stabilising environment for women experiencing an acute episode of mental illness.
Crocus Ward will focus on stabilisation, supporting women to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills, and prepare for independent life back in the community.
Burleigh Ward is a highly specialised service providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery and shape the future of occupational therapy provision across both wards.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality assessments and interventions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising an additional Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
