DeVOL Kitchens is one of the leading and most highly regarded kitchen companies in the UK, with manufacturing and design offices based in Leicestershire, London, Bath and New York. We are seeking a highly motivated, capable, and friendly individual to join our Dispatch and Logistics team. In this role, you will assist with the delivery of a wide range of products to destinations across the globe. As part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing operations, ensuring smooth delivery processes, and addressing any issues that arise. This includes organising and scheduling orders for our various furniture ranges, as well as deVOL accessories, while collaborating closely with a strong and supportive team. Your job at deVOL will involve but is not limited to: Communicating effectively, both within and outside the organisation, to ensure the smooth, safe and timely delivery of orders. This includes setting clear expectations of deadlines and ensuring these are met. Producing the various logistics and customs paperwork required when exporting and importing goods to the EU, USA, and the rest of the world. Monitoring shipment progress from wrapping and loading, to delivery. Addressing any issues in the most cost-effective and time-sensitive manner. Obtaining competitive quotes from carriers, booking deliveries, tracking and communicating on the status of a shipment. Assisting with the management of the deVOL fleet of vehicles. We would love you to: Be proficient with Excel and /or Google Sheets. Have a keen eye for detail and enjoy problem- solving. Have great organisational and time management skills. Be personable and friendly, with good communication skills. Experience with Brexit, Customs and/or Import-Export paperwork would be beneficial but is not essential. We are looking for candidates who are ambitious and keen to be part of an ever-expanding business. We offer a competitive salary based on experience and during your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals where your pay will be reviewed. After this, we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.
