Job summary We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will also work alongside in-house services which include community, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility. Main duties of the job The Housing Support Grant (HSG) is a project supporting clients with drug and alcohol issues who are also at risk of losing their tenancy. To be eligible, clients need to be in temporary, supported, emergency or private rented accommodation. You will be a resilient and committed individual who has an understanding of the problems faced by individuals finding themselves homeless or in insecure accommodation. We work alongside the community teams and with external agencies to support our clients to prevent homelessness. The focus is to support in any way that the client needs to help them remain accommodated.
