We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services for a RMN OR RNLD to join the team within highly specialised, secure facility in York which provides an individualised, person-centred approach
The hospital offers comprehensive forensic services to patients with complex mental health problems, providing challenging work in an environment that allows for rapid learning and exposure to a diverse range of services and treatment modalities. And while the work is demanding, you will be surrounded by caring, positive team members to support you every step of the way.?
The team have produced excellent recovery results for those who stay with them and they are able to progress to low secure or locked rehabilitation if possible. They run a therapeutic programme to help patients to develop coping strategies, increase skills and resilience and enable patients to access the community to maximise their recovery potential.

They are able to support people who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).
The LD and autism wards have been recently NAS accredited (National Autistic Society). They recognise the excellent, safe, responsive and caring environment and practises that support patients.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
* To be a team player, ready to collaborate and work closely with multifunctional teams
* To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
* Good listening and rapport building ability
* To be able to organize and prioritise your time
* Caring nature, dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care
This is s full time permanent post and offers a salary of £40,591 per annum, plus

Shift patterns are ;Day shift is 7.25am-7.45pmNight shifts 7.25pm-7.45am
