Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer Job Overview
* Produce designs using hand calculations or design software.
* Follow design standards including British Standards, Eurocodes, CIRIA, BRE, and NHBC.
* Ensure designs comply with internal QMS procedures and checking protocols.
* Manage projects of all sizes, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Contribute to fee proposals and develop site investigation scopes.
* Lead site investigations from concept to completion.
* Coordinate with professionals and contractors as needed.
* Liaise with clients and design teams to meet project briefs, attending meetings as required.
* Work independently on smaller projects or collaboratively on larger schemes.
* Mentor less experienced team members.
Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer Job Requirements
* Completion of Degree in relevant Engineering subject.
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in a similar engineering consultancy.
* Chartered geologist, Engineer or Scientist, or working towards this status.
* Proficient in the use of software such as technical design packages including SlopeW (or similar), Holebase, etc.
* Proficient in foundation design and recommendations, earthworks, slope stability, and contaminated land risk assessment including remediation, DQRA, etc.
* CAT & Genny competence trained.
* QGIS proficiency.
* Full driving licence and use of a car.
