Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to a diverse student body. Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and positive attitudes towards physical education. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development. Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all physical education activities. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum. Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (desirable but not essential). Strong understanding of physical education principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
