Teaching Assistant Level 4 - Tredegar Park Primary School
Salary: Grade 6 SCP 18 - 23 £29,269 - £32,076 (Pro Rata)
The children, staff, and Governing Body of Tredegar Park Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspirational Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join the school team.
We are looking for someone with passion and dedication to help us on our journey to provide the best quality education for all at Tredegar Park Primary School. The successful candidate will teach many classes to cover PPA, mainly in the lower school but also in the upper school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on Forest School. We are fortunate to have an extensive Forest School within our grounds, where our children visit weekly to learn life skills and get creative throughout the year.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will teach Forest School, Read Write Inc, and Jigsaw lessons, among other responsibilities.
PPA time will be allocated for lesson preparation each week. As Forest School is well-embedded across the school, many planning documents have already been produced. However, it will be the responsibility of the HLTA to ensure that the planning meets the needs of the classes taught and to make necessary adaptations to ensure that learning opportunities are not missed.
All staff play a vital role in the life of Tredegar Park Primary School. We would like to appoint individuals who:
1. Are able to develop excellent working relationships with all pupils, Governing Body members, staff, and parents/carers.
2. Are dedicated to the social, emotional, and mental wellbeing of all pupils.
3. Have high expectations of what all pupils can achieve and will invest heavily in supporting them to reach their full potential.
4. Are positive and respectful and reflect regularly on their practice to improve professionally.
