Job Summary: The Associate will manage a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans, where Trimont serves as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent. The Associate will also be collaborating closely with Trimont's in-house Legal team and, when necessary, external counsel to review finance documents prior to loan closing and throughout the loan's duration. The Associate will create financial models, scheduling conditions subsequent, construction milestones, and other significant events, along with providing borrower reporting in accordance with finance documents. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast loan performance and financial outcomes. Oversee a diverse portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans, functioning as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent to ensure compliance with financial agreements and industry standards. Collaborate with Trimont's in-house Legal team and engage external counsel as needed to review, finalize, and ensure the accuracy of finance documents before loan closing and throughout the loan's lifecycle. Schedule and monitor conditions subsequent, construction milestones, and other critical events as outlined in finance documents. Ensure timely and accurate borrower reporting in accordance with loan agreements. Address borrower inquiries and guide compliance with finance document requirements. Facilitate communication and coordination among lenders, borrowers, and legal representatives for loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers, and other ad hoc. Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved. Manage the processing of loan transfers, setup of financial waterfalls, and review of back-office calculations for accuracy. Ensure smooth operational workflows and adherence to financial protocols. Work with project monitors, borrowers, and lenders to manage drawdown processes and calculate lender splits as required. Instruct and oversee property valuations, ensuring they align with current market conditions and loan requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance preferred 5 years' experience in loan servicing within finance, real estate, or a related industry. Proven track record of managing loan portfolios and understanding complex financial transactions. Solid analytical skills with an intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Capable of analyzing financial data, creating detailed reports, and providing insights for decision-making. Demonstrated strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
