Software Engineer - Brighton About the role The GelBottle Inc. is growing fast, and we're looking for a Software Engineer to join our vibrant, founder-led team If you're passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and eager to contribute to an exciting mix of B2B and B2C brands, this could be the perfect opportunity for you We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to take charge of maintaining and improving our in-house infrastructure by developing, and maintaining websites based on Webflow, BigCommerce, and other e-commerce solutions to support the company's digital growth. Manage and develop 3 Webflow-based websites, ensuring editors can easily update and maintain content. Optimise on-page SEO using Webflow's built-in tools (meta tags, alt tags, URL structures). Add custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to extend Webflow's functionality. Monitor and improve website performance, ensuring fast load times and excellent usability. Modify and customise BigCommerce themes to align with branding and user experience (UX) requirements. Use Celigo to automate workflows and integrations between platforms like BigCommerce, Bloomreach CRM, and Akeneo PIM. Troubleshoot Celigo integration errors, manage exceptions, and ensure smooth operation. Work cross-functionally on any future IT projects that may arise. About you: You'll be the only Software Developer in IT team and so you will be a self-starter, curious, and confident to undergo tasks with minimum direction. To support that, we think you'll also need: Laravel Framework experience Celigo experience Basic SEO knowledge BigCommerce Stencil theme development Webflow experience CSS Frameworks: Usage of frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS. JavaScript Frameworks/Libraries: Proficiency in at least one popular library/framework like React, Vue.js, or Angular. HTML5/CSS3: Strong grasp of semantic HTML and CSS fundamentals, including responsive techniques. Familiarity with tools like SASS or LESS for maintaining complex stylesheets. Version Control Systems (Git): Solid understanding of Git commands and collaboration tools like GitHub or GitLab. Server-side Languages: PHP, MySQL databases, REST API. Why TGB?
