As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Test Engineer to join their high-performing team and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities of the Test Engineer:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures to ensure product and system functionality and performance.
Carry out testing on both prototypes and final products, verifying compliance with design specifications, safety criteria, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams to detect and address potential issues early in development.
Analyse test outcomes to identify defects or areas for improvement, offering detailed feedback to optimise design.
Troubleshoot testing challenges by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Ensure all testing and validation processes align with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Produce and maintain thorough test documentation, reports, and records for both internal and external stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, or workflows.Key Experience & Qualifications of the Test Engineer:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated experience in testing and validating systems, components, or products—ideally within electronics or manufacturing environments.
Solid understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques, tools, and best practices.
Skilled in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting findings in a clear, actionable format.
Familiar with regulatory and industry standards relevant to product testing (e.g., CE, UL, ISO).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and QA teams.
