Information Assurance Security Lead (Cyber and Safety) - Submarines
Full Time - (SC Clearance Required)

There is currently an exciting opportunity for an Information Assurance Security Lead to join the Alliance Team.
Your role involves engaging effectively with a large stakeholder base including the capability customer, in-service community, intelligence community and UK SMEs in IA/cyber and involvement in early activities to understand how to better integrate the cyber and safety domains within the programme. Please note this role requires full SC Clearance.
What you'll be doing:
You will lead, coordinate and assure all activities towards achieving IA/cyber security accreditation of the Dreadnought submarine.
1. Set strategic direction towards achieving cyber security accreditation across the large and complex Dreadnought programme, maintaining oversight and holding to account all suppliers into the Dreadnought programme across the Nuclear Enterprise.
2. Provide leadership, representation and intervention as appropriate at Security Working Groups at all tiers of the programme, sometimes down to individual sub-tier suppliers in high-risk areas.
3. Provide advice and support to the rest of the Dreadnought alliance on cyber security (policy, implementation, risk management, technical testing etc.)

1. A substantial range of cyber and information security knowledge.
2. Experience, knowledge and/or qualifications in more of the following: cyber security of networks, interfacing, industrial control systems, penetration testing & product security.
3. Experience in implementation of cost-effective and pragmatic security enforcing functions within systems or equipment and at system-of-systems design levels.
4. Experience in leading and managing cyber security on complex Engineering programmes.
5. Experience in cyber security in the defence environment.
6. Professional engineering qualifications.
Location:
The role requires regular travel to Bristol office 2 days a week and requires regular but infrequent travel to other key suppliers sites.
