Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 nurse to work as a Ward Based Clinical Co-ordinator alongside a Band 7 Intervention Lead to facilitate the Therapeutic Optimisation (THEO) participatory action research study using practice development approaches at ward level.
You will be part of the clinical team focused on enhancing effective clinical interactions with colleagues, patients, and their families.
We are looking for someone to collaborate with the existing ward leadership team, to be an excellent clinical role model with developing guiding and coaching skills.
Main duties of the job
* Work collaboratively with a THEO Band 7 and with support from an external UEA based THEO/ PD facilitator, to co-facilitate the THEO participatory action research study.
* Support others in implementing practice-driven innovation at ward level.
* Enable THEO across the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to enhance delivery of safe and effective care.
* Participate in collaboration with the existing ward team and facilitate interactions to collect, analyse and report evidence at practice level.

* Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the THEO participatory action research study at ward level.
* Promote continuous development of clinical practice and effective teamworking in the delivery of patient care.
* Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary and nursing clinical team to provide evidence of person-centred clinical care delivery.
* Demonstrate clinical expertise to enable the delivery of high standards of person-centred, safe and effective nursing care.
* Review nursing practice and support the implementation of changes based on research/best practice.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Degree / Diploma in nursing
* Evidence of post-registration education / CPD activity
* Recognised NMC / other teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent
Experience
* Evidence of innovation and achievements in clinical practice
* Demonstrate experience of collaborative working
* Evidence of working as part of MDT
