What you’ll do:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a planned maintenance scheme to meet customer requirements and drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Must be able to adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures including managing contractors.
1. Main duties will include the allocating and prioritising of the workloads of your team (including apprentices), motivating your team members in order to meet the needs of the departments customers, resolving any day-to-day issues that may occur, involvement in Lean/Cost out and TPM events, administrative duties, including the updating of the Time & Attendance system, conducting performance reviews with your team members and return to work interviews.
2. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge relevant to mechanical manufacturing machinery processes.
3. You will be a great communicator, be able to use your own initiative and be able to organise and prioritise the work of yourself and your team and other departments. Be able to deputise in the absence of the department Team Leader to ensure all necessary steps are taken to meet production requirements.
4. This is a fast-paced environment, so you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to show engagement in Eaton’s Values & Philosophies.
5. This is a full-time position, working a 39-hour week on a two-shift system working Days and Afters.

Required:
* Previous supervisory experience.
* Excellent IT Skills
* ONC Mechanical or equivalent
* Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship
* Competent in mechanical practices
* Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Experience of high-speed automatic assembly equipment.
* Injection Moulding and Power Press experience
* Contractor management/supervision
* Apprentice mentoring/development
Desired:
* A working knowledge CMMS.
* You will be required to motivate personnel to create a high-performance culture.
* Electrical/PLC knowledge and experience would be at a distinct advantage.
