A well-established manufacturer in the Leeds area, they are looking to add a Quality Inspector to their team.
Description
* Performing final & inter-stage dimensional inspections and supporting the requirements for documenting and maintaining records associated with these activities.
* Review and verify route cards, process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of components.
* Liaise with client inspectors as and when required.
* Perform intermediate and final dimensional inspections including documenting and maintaining records associated with inspection.
* Verification of process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures.
* Inspection of parts to include the production and control of documents for materials processes and parts.
* Assist in the development and control of necessary documentation, analyse & report on materials, processes and products.
* Calibration and recording of measuring equipment.
* Liaise with other departments to maximise output.
Profile
* Basic knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.
* Basic knowledge of all relevant British standards.
* Substantial experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated engineering documentation.
* Competent user of measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, Micrometers, CMM's and vision systems.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Able to work on your own initiative.
* Flexible attitude to work.
Job Offer
* Salary ranging between 30k and 33k.
* Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm (Monday - Friday) and 2pm-12am (Monday - Thursday) - Rotates Weekly.
