About the role:
We wish to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to teach and assess ESOL Entry Level English and EAL within Monoux High School. Monoux High School is an alternative provision offered by Monoux Sixth Form College for year 11 students who are newly arrived from another country. We require the appointed applicant to integrate the development of basic skills while teaching students in accordance with the relevant curriculum.
Monoux High School (MHS) recently received an ‘outstanding’ judgement when inspected in a quality visit by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. MHS always puts the needs of students first, motivating them to work to the best of their ability to achieve the highest grades possible. The staff in the team are specialists in their subject areas and they work exceptionally well together to support the students, and each other.

The successful candidate will have an appropriate teaching qualification and be qualified to degree level.
