An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, client-focused team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, to join our team responsible for the planning, delivery, and monitoring of the Town and Community Hub Projects within Estates Development. Key duties within this role include:
1. Leading the delivery of a wide variety of projects within the Town & Community hub programme;
2. Ensuring effective partnership working between the Authority, Partners, and all relevant bodies;
3. Monitoring and reporting of the contracts;
4. Implementing all quality systems to ensure compliance throughout the contract period.
Candidates interested in this role will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant construction industry subject and be able to provide evidence of continuous professional development. It is essential that you have significant relevant post-qualification experience, with experience of a construction design environment being advantageous. Excellent IT skills and an understanding of design/procurement initiatives and processes, including the RIBA Plan of Work, are also essential.
You should have knowledge of Health and Safety issues and developments, as well as the ability to analyse data, produce relevant reports, and work under pressure to meet deadlines. In addition, knowledge of contracts and procurement practices, CDM Regulations, and the Scottish Futures Trust Hub partnering programme is desirable.
