Commercial Finance Lead10 Month Fixed Term ContractJOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE:The Commercial Finance Lead will work with the current Commercial operations Manager to lead the delivery of the Finance workstreams and projects within in larger implementation programme. They will need to be versatile, agile and adaptable and be able to apply a range of disciplines, including project management, business analysis, and data analysis, to ensure quality and on time delivery of project objectives and deliverables, ensuring key milestones are met. The Commercial Finance Lead will on-board the commercial requirements of the new contract and ensure that G4S systems and processes are aligned to the payment mechanisms of the new contract. The Commercial Finance Lead will also need to integrate any commercial functions with the new Integrator processes and systems.The COM will lead in the forecasting and financial reporting for the contract, working in conjunction with the Programme Director, Account Director and Senior Management team. The role is a national role working from home however adhoc travel may be required to customer officers and the division hub locations in Tewkesbury, Leeds and London will be required thus a driving licence and transport is advisable for this position.The position requires the candidate to be flexible around the demands and requirements of the relevant projects which may include occasional evening and weekend working.A positive and flexible attitude to teamwork and a willingness to learn and get stuck in is critical as the COM will need to support the team members and other workstreams as required with tasks and deliverables of the project. RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:Implement and embed effective pre and post Contract commercial management services.Implement all customer driven commercial and financial requirementsDocument all customer commercial and financial processesUndertake all relevant Commercial Management duties in conformance with the policies and Procedures in a timely and effective mannerAgree and define the Monthly Application process and work Provide periodic financial reports including Cost ForecastingUpdate all commercial systems in line with new contract pricingIntegrate payment and workflow processes with Integrator systems and processesEnsure relevant balance sheet accounts are well maintained and properly controlledManaging relationships with Integrator & Authority Commercial teamsControl all inputs to be able to produce accurate and detailed contract P+L’sManage Change to contract and Ad Hoc requests for analysis to support the Operations team with their decision makingWork to drive efficiencies and Profit Improvement PlansPrepare Budget reportsEngage in open dialogue with the Authority and Integrator to ensure value for money solutions are deliveredTrack and monitor all variances/change requests to existing contract requirementsEnsure all KPI failures are captured for accurate penalty payments.
