Job Description
Your role as the Accounts Payable clerk will be to: · Manage Supplier Accounts · Processing payment runs· Ensuring documentation related to payment of invoices is accurate· Processing vendor invoices· Reconciling A/P including intercompany accounts· Liaising with creditors and answering queries regarding outstanding invoices· Allocate vendor payments· Manage import VAT and HMRC deferment account· Assist in audit/ year-end financial closure
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
3. A strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and principles
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
5. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
8. A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
