Marketing and Design Assistant
Fixed term contract to 31 March 2026, with the opportunity to extend subject to Arts Council England funding approval
Part time, 16 hours per week.
NS5, £25,183 -£25,584 per annum pro rata
We are excited to be recruiting to our Marketing and Design Assistant post on a fixed term basis. You will have the opportunity to gain experience and to work with a range of stakeholders and audiences. In addition, you will be part of a talented, passionate and supportive team.
Your role will be to assist with the provision of marketing and design work for the Palace Theatre and National Civil War Centre's National Portfolio Organisation - Open Doors. This is an Arts Council England funded programme which aims to increase creative opportunities for young people and underserved groups and become a focal point for culture across Newark and Sherwood. You’ll be creating promotional material, from leaflets to posters, writing press releases, updating the website, and writing content for social media.
You will have experience in a communications or marketing environment – this could be work or education based, have excellent communication and organisational skills, enjoy working both within a team and using your own initiative, and be passionate about making arts and culture accessible for all. You will also have a GCSE in English at A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
