The facility provides access to state-of-the-art machining, 3D printing and inspection equipment to ensure you experience the powerful manufacturing outcomes that Autodesk software provides for customers.At Autodesk, we deeply value our staff and are committed to maximizing their potential while ensuring they receive the utmost support from us.ResponsibilitiesWork on a live Digital Twin model of our Birmingham office and Technology Centre using Autodesk Tandem and Autodesk Tandem ConnectResearch and implement off-the-shelfIOT sensorsProcess real-time data from manufacturing equipment and IOT sensors and prepare this data to be ingested by the Digital Twin modelCollaborate and liaise with a diverse manufacturing team and other stakeholders across AutodeskMinimum Qualifications120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degreeThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for brightComputer Science,Mechanical, Aerospace, Product Design Engineering (or similar) students for our eleven-week summer internships starting summer 2025An appreciation of the uses and capabilities of manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, polymer 3D printers and metal additive machinesAn interest in programming and scripting with experience in at least two of: JavaScript \/ NodeJS, Node-RED, Python, using third-party APIs, Postman, Git & Github, Windows & Linux command line, Dashboards \/ Power BISome computer networking experience.
