Quality Manager
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join an excellent engineering company in the Bristol area.

Role & Responsibilities:
1. Relevant previous role experience
2. Lead internal and external quality audits
3. Maintain Quality Management System
4. Knowledge of general engineering practices
5. Knowledge of general measuring equipment
6. Ability to interpret technical data, including models, drawings, and specifications
7. Working experiences within engineering linked roles.
8. Experience with a target driven business
9. Good communicator, written and verbal (presentation)
10. Able to build strong relationships, internal and external
11. Good IT skills
12. Mathematically literate, understanding cost and pricing
13. Good English skills
14. Based in Bristol
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
15. Ensure all internal & external quality accreditations are adhered to.
16. Knowledge of BSEN ISO9001 2015.
17. Customer & suppliers’ liaison for all inbound and outbound materials.
18. Maintain plant KPI’s.
19. Define company processes and procedures regarding plant Quality.
20. Support & lead the team to accept/reject in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production.
21. Support & lead the team to accept/reject incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
22. Support & lead accept/reject finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
23. Generate and compilation of First Article Inspection Reports.
24. Making appropriate decisions when concerns over quality and safety become apparent.
25. Highlight production issues (Technical / Quality / Health and Safety) issues to the Production Manager.
26. Support training and development activities as requested by the General Manager
27. Ensure all equipment used is in calibration and good operating condition. Once used, the equipment is to be returned to its designated storage location.
28. Support weekly production meetings reporting on job progress and output requirements.
