Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm
Term: Term time only

Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates. A school that specializes in accommodating children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs is looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with behavioral and mental health issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Working with SEN students aged 8 to 18 to support their wellbeing and personal development.
2. Work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school.
3. Build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant SEMH needs.
4. Gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD.
The right candidate:
1. Graduates who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology OR a good education background (GCSEs in Maths and English) plus prior experience as a Teaching Assistant for children with mental health issues.
2. Enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEMH.
3. Resilient and confident to work with challenging behavior.
