A leading Sustainable Energy business is seeking a Brand Manager to be based in their Newcastle office, with a hybrid working pattern. You will oversee and deliver their brand strategy and development.
Reporting into the CMO, you will shape and elevate the brand, ensuring the business maximizes its opportunities to stand out and is effectively positioned in the marketplace. This is a rapidly growing and evolving business in a relatively new marketplace; the role is hands-on and focused on B2B marketing.
Key duties will include:
1. Evolve and implement the brand strategy, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all platforms.
2. Brand activation and management, overseeing the brand implementation and ensuring high visibility.
3. Maximize co-branding, cross-promotion, and partnerships with customers, navigating the complexity around their brand guidelines, covering industries like construction, TV & Film, live events, and festivals.
4. Work closely with the rest of the marketing team, supporting colleagues as required and building successful relationships across the business.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to develop engaging branded content and campaigns.
6. Stakeholder management, supplier and cost management.
7. Brand protection, support the trademarks and safeguard the business’s reputation.
Candidates MUST have:
1. Successful track record in a similar role, working on brand management in a B2B environment; experience in the climate technology, green tech, energy, events, sustainability, or renewables sectors is ideal (but not essential).
2. Ability to deliver and lead on brand strategy.
3. Strong track record of executing brand strategies across multiple platforms.
4. Good stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
5. Ability to work in a rapidly growing business, undergoing constant change.
6. Passion for sustainability and willingness to support the rest of the team as required.
Desirable are:
1. Experience managing 3rd party suppliers.
2. Knowledge of trademarks and brand protection strategies.
3. Experience developing content, brand assets, or video content.
4. Experience working in a growing business or startup.
5. Experience working in manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, or utilities sector.
