Job Description Project Lead - S&OP Transformation Full time Derby / Hybrid What you will be doing: We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Lead to join the central S&OP team, based in Derby. As a Project Lead, you will have the opportunity to be part of the team transforming the way Civil Aerospace runs the S&OP process. S&OP plays a critical role in high-performing organisations. The main purpose of S&OP is to coordinate and manage the end to end (E2E) supply and demand processes, from Sales & Operational Planning, through demand planning, parts production and supply, load balancing, warehouse storage and logistics to support engine build and Aftermarket requirements across a complex matrix organisation. We have launched a multi-year transformation programme to revolutionise how we run our S&OP process to support our winning goals ambition. Our process requires streamlining and integrating to improve transparency, agility and providing our executive leadership team with a live connected process to deliver a combined and balanced operational performance and financial transparency. Responsibilities: Establish WBS, governance structure, change management & linkage to nterprise Develop Detail P6 Plans & Establish Level 1 Structure & Reporting Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification & time for defined projects/workstreams. Establish, develop & maintain Project Management processes & documentation necessary to deliver projects (e.g., schedules, WBS, performance reports, budgets, risk registers, resource plans etc.). Support management and key stakeholders in decision making. Develop & implement Project Management best practice. Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project. Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators. Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification. Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria. Why Rolls-Royce?
