An exciting opportunity has arisen on Jefferson ward to recruit a Staff Nurse to work within the our busy Neuro-sciences Same Day admission & Discharge unit. We are looking for a registered nurse preferably with relevant experience in the clinical setting who is enthusiastic, motivated and will be part of the team in providing safe and effective care for our patients. However, newly qualified nurses will be considered. Please note: this role also includes rotation to Sherrington Ward/RANA Clinic which is a Neurology Day Case ward. Our current opening hours are from 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday. These hours will be revisited in the near future and are subject to change. Informal discussion and visits are very welcome., The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified and unqualified staff. The post holder may occasionally have to take charge of a ward in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.
