The Wessex Foundation School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Programme Co-ordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a someone with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Working in a busy team alongside the Foundation School Education Programme Manager, Education Programme Officer, Foundation School Director and Deputy, the successful Applicant will support the delivery of the UK Foundation programme within the Wessex region. Working at a fast pace, this role suits candidates that are passionate about delivering excellent communication and administrative support.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders. They will provide comprehensive administrative support in ensuring the delivery of high quality regional and national processes. In this key role, the post holder will work across a broad range of activities within the workstream and portfolio as a whole in addition to supporting wider PGMDE activity.
1. Supporting the ARCP process for Foundation doctors. This includes setting up and maintaining spreadsheets, planning and organising the main annual ARCP panels and ad hoc panels throughout the year ensuring that reviews are held at appropriate times for the individual Resident Doctor.
2. Liaise with Foundation Teams at trusts within the Wessex region providing support and guidance
3. Supporting the Business Team with payments for Foundation Doctors in GP Placements
4. Validation of data held on the Trainee information system
5. Supporting the programme management of the Wessex Foundation School Programme, ensuring rotations are produced within the defined timelines and entered on the Trainee Information system accurately and communicated effectively.
6. Provide support to the Education Programme Manager throughout the recruitment process
7. Ensures that filing and data archiving is undertaken by all team members in accordance with organisational policy.
8. Creating, developing and maintaining specific webpages relevant to the Foundation Programme as required.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. 14. Equivalent experience to an HNC level qualification or the HNC qualification
Knowledge and Experience

15. Experience of working as a team with others of varying seniority with proven ability of working in a team environment and delivering team objectives.
16. Proven experience of drafting and producing minutes and meeting notes.
Skills and Abilities

17. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work including excellent general office administration skills with the ability to manipulate data on spreadsheets (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access skills) and review and develop administrative processes and procedures.
18. Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload in a challenging and demanding environment as well as the ability to remain calm in pressurised situations - periods of high recruitment activity, challenging telephone conversations with senior medical colleagues and medical trainees or dealing with urgent requests.
