Alexander James Recruiting is currently representing an industry leading manufacturer in Fabrication that is looking to bring on a new Operations Manager to oversee production from their site in the West Midlands. With a competitive package, this is a great opportunity for a Production/Operations Manager with a background in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all production and operations from the manufacturing site in the West Midlands
Managing the teams of staff in production, planning and logistics
Ensuring all products meet the requirements of the customer and the specifications laid out by the design team
Assuring that all health and safety protocols are adhered to on the production site
Working closely with the sales, projects and design teams to ensure that customer requirements are being metRequirements
You will ideally have previously worked within fabrication, manufacturing and production from an operations management perspective. It is essential that you have experience of managing a team in a production type setting and you are used to working to strict deadlines. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the West Midlands as you will be required to be on the site daily.
