Teaching Assistant KS2
We are looking for a teaching assistant in our Darlington area who has experience with challenging behaviour to start in September at one of our local primary schools - initially the post will be for 1 term however there is great potential to extend to Christmas. Working hours 08:30AM - 3:30PM
Details about this role:
* Full time role starting October 2024
* Temporary for 1 term, could be extended dependant on funding
* Supporting a Y5 pupil on a 1:1 basis who can display challenging behaviour
* Pupil has autism and has EHCP to follow
* Competitive salary, earn up to £440 per week
* CPD opportunities offered throughout the year
* You will also be expected to assist the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
* Other duties will include cleaning/ tidying the classroom, preparing lesson materials, and providing teachers/ parents with feedback.

Salary:
* Competitive rates varying between £400 - £500 paid weekly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
